In March 2017, ARHT Media invited world renowned physicist Professor Stephen Hawking to speak to an audience of over 700 people using our Augmented Reality Holographic Telepresence technology. Since Professor Hawking wasn’t able to physically make it to the event, using our technology, we were able to capture him live in the UK and beam him in real-time to Hong Kong as a HumaGram.
The event was a great showcase of our technology, which has recently been making great in-roads into the realms of politics, entertainment and business, helping people be in multiple places at once and eliminate time and geography.
With the help of Fleishman Hillard, our PR agency for the event, we were able to make a big splash not only in Hong Kong but also across the globe. To create coverage our strategy included exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, demonstrations of our holographic projection capabilities and interviews with our executive team to deliver an informative and impressive first-hand experience for media.
The media campaign resulted in coverage by over 120 media outlets across the world. Having successfully pitched Xinhua News Agency and Agence France Presse, the event was reported in over 20 countries.
